March Favourites

Hey Guys Hope you are all well, that time again for another monthly favourites cannot believe that March has come and gone already it is crazy. DAY: I know this might seem like a bit of an odd one but my favourite day this month was my birthday which was on the 2nd, was a lovely day to spend with the people I love and the food we had from Apres was delicious. I was truly spoilt with presents and what was an added bonus was I put a bet on Adam Lallana to score against Manchester City I thought why not it is my birthday why not bet on my favourite player to score a goal, I didn't expect it to happen at all but it did so that made my birthday a little bit more special. FILM: I had quite a good month with going to the cinema I saw 3 films this month which were London Has Fallen, Allegient and Batman V Superman. My favourite was obviously Batman v Superman I loved it so much, I know it had bad reviews but I don't really read them because I prefer to have my own opinion a...

So here is my top 10 most anticipated books for the rest of 2016, this may contain some spoilers as some of these are the next books in certain series so the synopsis may give away some spoilers if you are not up to date, so proceed with caution. 1. Always With Love by Giovanna Fletcher Released: 2nd June 2016 Synopsis: Sophie's got used to being the girlfriend of Billy Buskin, the biggest movie star in the world. Sort of. But when she and Billy take a trip to visit his family in Los Angeles, she quickly discovers she's totally unprepared for the chaos of Hollywood, the paparazzi and Billy's controlling mother. And when Billy extends his stay in LA, leaving Sophie to fly home to Rosefont Hill alone, it seems there's more than just miles between them. N...

February Favourites

Hey Guys Time for a monthly favourites as it is the end of February already, I have no idea where the month has gone to be honest. Hope everyone has had a good February. TV: I haven't watched a lot of telly this month but one thing I did sit and watch was Grease:Live which was on ITV 2 and I loved it. I am a huge fan of musicals and all that jazz and have always been a lover of Grease. I loved the way they did it and how well it worked live, I was fine with the extra songs they added and the fact that they moved Hopelessly Devoted to You which I thought worked much better than where it is originally in the film. I loved the casting with musical theatre star Aaron Tviet playing Danny, he was Enjorlas in the Les Mis Film, Julianne Hough as Sandy didn't know she could sing as well as she can dance which is amazing and Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo killed it and especially during what must have been a very difficult time for her. Two things I weren't keen on were the appearanc...

January Favourites

Hey Guys So I thought I'd start a new series of posts that will appear at the end of every month which will document my favourite things from that month. There will be different categories every month depending on what I have been doing, hope you enjoy. FILM: I only saw one film this month in cinema and that was The 5th Wave and I loved it. This film is a book to movie adaptation it's about a girl named Cassie Sullivan and her quest to find her brother after an alien invasion comes to Earth and he is taken by the army, this movie has twists, action and romance. I read the book at the beginning of the year and enjoyed it, personally I think book to movie adaptations are either really good or really bad and I can honestly say this was really good. I felt it included everything that was useful and what they did leave out was not important to the story and they changed a few things in it which I felt where for the better especially the Ben and Cassie relationship. Really goo...

Most Anticipated Films of 2016

Hey Guys Hope you are all having a good week, today I am going to bring you my top 5 most anticipated films of 2016. This was very hard to narrow down to just 5 because there are so many amazing films coming out this year. This list is in order with my most anticipated first. 1. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them- November 2016 This is my most anticipated film of the year I cannot wait to be back in the wizarding world but with a new story. This is based on a Hogwarts School textbook called Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Schmander. The film is about Newt, who is played by the amazing Eddie Redmayne, tracking down these fantastic beasts as they are on the loose in the wizarding world. The trailer doesn't give much away but does enough to intrigue so cannot wait, shame have to wait until November though. 2. Suicide Squad- August 2016 This film looks amazing, it is about the bad guys from the DC comics being enlisted by the government to help figh...

My favourite book series

Welcome back !! Hope you all have had a good week, before we start I am so sad that Alan Rickman died this week such a sad loss because as you are about to find out I love Harry Potter. So as promised this week I am going to share with you my favourite book series but instead of 5 it's going to be 6 because I found it so hard to choose. First series is The Land Of Stories by Chris Colfer This is a fantasy book series that is aimed at 9-12 years old but I still love it. It's about twins, Alex and Connor, who get given a book of fairy tales by their grandmother, then one day they get transported into this fairy tale world and the first book is all about them trying to get home and along the way we meet all the fairy tale characters that we have grown up with and love. From there the series just is about all different adventures the twins have in The Land of Stories. Currently there are 4 books The Wishing Spell, The Enchantress Returns, A Grimm Warning and Be...
