Until The Last Star Fades by Jacquelyn Middleton Cover Reveal

From Jacquelyn Middleton, the award-winning author of LONDON BELONGS TO ME and LONDON, CAN YOU WAIT?, comes  UNTIL THE LAST STAR FADES, a friends-to-lovers contemporary romance set in New York City. UNTIL THE LAST STAR FADES features plenty of angst and sexy times, but it also tells the tale of an unbreakable bond between a mother and her daughter.   How amazing does this book sound ! I love London Belongs To Me and London Can You Wait? which I have reviews for, so I'm intrigued with a new set of characters and new locations because Jacquelyn's attention to detail with location is second to none and one of the reasons why I love the London books so much. So without further or do here is the actual blurb: COULD YOU BE THE ONE WHO CHANGES EVERYTHING? In her senior year at NYU, Riley Hope appears to be on top of the world. With a loving mother who makes Lorelai Gilmore look like a parenting slacker, ride-or-die friends, and a long-time boyfriend desti...

Disney x TOMS

A couple of months ago it was announced that the shoe brand TOMS were releasing three capsule Disney collections, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. This all started my love affair with TOMS and I started doing some research about them and I was pleasantly surprised and glad about their morals and ideas. They have their One for One campaign which is this idea that for every TOMS product bought a person in another country is helped in some way which could be a pair of shoes, a sight test, food, water, medicine. It’s a great way to help others and get a great pair of shoes. In addition to this they are also ethically friendly as well as vegan making them easy to cater for everyone. I bought my first pair of the classics in black for work and haven’t looked back they are so comfortable and true to size, so in was in no doubt that I was going to buy Disney ones. So, onto the Disney collaboration and at midnight Tuesday 19 th June the Cinderella collection launched and it’s ...

Disney at work

I thought it would be interesting to talk about and show everyone, my Disney work bag and how I represent Disney whilst I am working because everyone has different rules they have to abide by so here is how I do it. Firstly we have my bag and what Disney things I keep in there for work then how I represent Disney at work. I work in a little independent pharmacy as a medicine counter assistant, luckily our uniform is pretty basic but we are allowed to wear whatever shoes and accessories we want within reason. I'll link everything that I can as well but unfortunately all the Cath Kidston X Disney items are from previous collections but check out their latest collection which is Alice in Wonderland here also check out my wishlist for the collection here My Bag I have been using the Disney x Cath Kidston Peter Pan charity tote bag since it came out in November and I can’t believe how well it has held up. I love the design with Peter and all the colourful stars, I’ve had loads...

Disney x Cath Kidston: Alice in Wonderland Wishlist

It is that time again when a new Disney x Cath Kidston collection, this time around is Alice in Wonderland. I haven’t seen Alice in Wonderland for years, so this to me is an interesting theme for a collection and I wasn’t sure at first but then I saw the range and it is lovely. I thought I’d share some of my favourite pieces from the collection. Bags and Accessories My favourite bag from the whole collection is the Alice’s Words Buckle backpack, I didn’t realise I needed this until I saw it in an Instagram Story and when I saw how many pockets it had I was instantly sold, I really want it as my carry bag for my holiday to Corfu later this year. RRP: £60 Photo Credit: Cath Kidston Accessories wise I love the Alice minilite umbrella, ever since Cath Kidston introduced umbrellas into the Disney range they have looked amazing and this one is no different I love the heart shaped handle. RRP: £30 Photo Credit: Cath Kidston   Fashion I adore the Alice’s wor...

West End Does: The Magic of Animation

On Sunday I attended the West End Does: The Magic of Animation concert that was held at Cadogen Hall in Sloane Square. This concert was a one night only exclusive of some of the biggest names in the West End coming together and singing loads of songs from the animated films that we love, especially Disney films, so for me this is my ideal night. Our host for the evening was the ever amazing Christopher Biggins who bought a lot of laughter and wit into his short and brief hosting duties, he was so lovely. Then for the West End stars we had Fra Fee who most recently starred in The Ferryman which he won awards for. Carrie Hope Fletcher, who needs no explanation having been in Les Miserables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, War of the Worlds and most recently The Addams Family. Danielle Hope who won Andrew Lloyd Webber's Over the Rainbow show on BBC going onto play Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz as well as Les Miserable, Grease and many more. Rob Houchen was is a director of the West End Do...

Most Anticipated Books of 2018

I adore reading, I don’t blog about it much because I am not very good at book reviews and I don’t really know what to say, also I am terrible at not spoiling because I want to discuss everything that’s happened. This year I have struggled with reading with most of my books read being ones that I have already read. I have read 8 books this year and only 3 of those have been new reads. I only have a Goodreads goal of 20 books because that’s how much I’m struggling unfortunately to find things I want to read, I’m not sure what I want to read. However, there are some books coming out this year that I am very excited to read so I thought I’d list them here.  A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas Publication date: 1st May  Goodreads Synopsis: Months after the explosive events in A Court of Wings and Ruin, Feyre, Rhys, and their companions are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near,...
