Winnie the Pooh Exhibition

On Saturday the 27th January, me and my boyfriend went to London and went to the Victoria and Albert Museum to attend the Winnie the Pooh exhibition. This exhibition is very centred around the original Winnie the Pooh that A A Milne wrote as stories. It was amazing to see the origins of Winnie the Pooh and all the original drawings that the museum were able to get hold off. You walk into a big Hallo on the wall and there's various merchandise on the wall which was interesting to see how much merchandise there was surrounding Winnie the Pooh around the world. It included the Cath Kidston Winnie the Pooh dress and the Winnie the Pooh plush from the Disney Store. The detailing in this exhibition is incredible they really put thought into how it looks, like there was stairs with a Winnie the pooh quote, they'd made Christopher Robin's bedroom which was amazing and that was the start of the journey through Winnie the Pooh and the drawings all along the wall was amazi...

The Greatest Showman

Taken from The Greatest Showman Facebook As you can tell by the title I am going to talk about The Greatest Showman because I have seen it twice and adored it and need to talk about it so thought I would put it all in a blog post. I know this film has taken the world by storm and I am glad because it is stunning. I loved all the messages in this film and how many walls it broke down and how relevant they still are to this current time over 200 years later. The overall message being embrace all over yourself scars and all and that this is ok and that you should ignore the haters and just be you because majority of people will accept you and love you. Other little messages that the people you can meet can be the best friendships you’ll ever make and that friendship and family are so important never forget that they are there. Also, those are the people who will help you when things get difficult. One line from this film that sticks with me is when Charity tells Barnum that he...

2018 !

I cannot believe it is 2018 already but I hope people are enjoying the year so far. I wasn't going to do a post about my resolutions, goals, aims whatever you want to call them but I have really enjoyed reading other peoples so I decided to do my only little list of things I want to do this year. FOMO I suffer from the fear of missing out so much and this year I want to kick that feeling because it has been getting me down too much recently and I just get depressed about why I can't do this or that because I have friends who get to do amazing things and I want to do it too. I need to learn to not give a shit basically because I have different circumstances to others and I have different priorities, I may eventually do the things they are experiencing all I might never do it. I need to lean this doesn't matter life is not a competition of trying to outdo each other. I am lucky in what I can do and I should think about the amazing things I am doing and have planned to ...

Beauty and the Beast: Live Concert Orchestra

On Saturday the Royal Albert Hall screened Live Action Beauty and the Beast with a Live Concert Orchestra. I went with two of my friends and we attended the 2:00pm showing which worked better for us all. We were sat in the Rausing Circle which is right at the top of the venue but the best part was that we were just off the centre so we could see both the screen and the orchestra these were the £30 seats and they were perfect. I really enjoyed it, I think it's a very interesting way to watch a film they sounded exactly like the soundtrack. My favourite part was the Overture it's just such an incredible piece of music and to hear it live I had chills and welled up a little bit. Another song that was amazing was Tale as Old as Time this is such a beautiful song and to hear it done with an orchestra is just magical. One more piece of music I adore is the Transformation music and that was done to perfection I adore it so much. Even though admittedly I haven't watched the fi...

My Favourite Disney Songs

I realised that as much as I talk about Disney I have never actually shared my favourites so I am going to rectify this right now. I am going to discuss my 10 favourite Disney songs in no particular order they are just 10 that I can keep listening to over and over. 1. Gaston- Live Action Beauty and the Beast I have been obsessed with the Live Action version of this song ever since it was released and I am still singing it now. First of all Josh Gad is incredible and I just love him singing this song and the acting that goes into it is fantastic. Then Luke Evans in this song is amazing, especially when he holds notes it is just another level. The two of them together in this song is the perfect match. It is different to the original and I think it's much more musical which I personally prefer and in the film it is a real showpiece I just adore it. 2. Friend Like Me- Aladdin I have loved this song forever it is a proper classic Disney song and everyone knows it. Robin W...

London Can You Wait ?

Finally the much anticipated sequel to one of my favourite books this year London Belongs to Me was finally released last Thursday in the shape of London Can You Wait? So once again here is my ramble on what I thought, avoiding spoilers. I am so glad to be back in this story and seeing how everyone is doing a year later. Let’s start with Alex, I feel she has become more confident within herself in this book, which is lovely to see. She again shows that regardless of how wonderful life seems for some people we are all human and bad things happen but things will be ok in the end. She goes through very real emotions again her anxiety is still debilitating which a lot of people experience. I love Alex even more in this book because she puts up with a lot and got through it. Onto Mark, I adore him in the first book, in this he’s the big star his career has gone mental, but he’s struggling to juggle everything and that puts a strain on his and Alex’s relationship. Also, we get to ...

Barcelona Photo Diary

About a month ago me and my boyfriend went on our first holiday just the two of us to Barcelona for 4 nights. At the time we booked everything through Monarch including hotel, transfers and flights. We went Sunday to Thursday, landing Sunday night and coming back early Thursday morning. I thought I'd do a photo diary of our trip. Monday Monday morning gave us the first opportunity to see what the view was like from our hotel room which was Hotel 4 Barcelona , luckily our room had a sea view which is more than we could ask for. We were within a 10 minute walk to the beach with the closest beach being Bogatell it was lovely. Monday consisted of going on the hop on hop off tourist bus and a large part of our day was spent at the Nou Camp the home of Barcelona FC so we did the stadium tour of that and then the rest of the day was just spent exploring our surroundings. We had food by the beach for dinner which was really lovely. Tuesday The main thing was ...
